Frequently Asked Questions

We’re always ready to answer any and all questions you may have.

What services do you offer?
We focus on installing high quality driveways, pathways and patios first and foremost, specialising particularly in resin bound surfaces due to their low-maintenance and sustainable drainage compliant nature.

We also carry out block paving, tarmac and artificial grass installation, as well as offering pattern imprinted concrete restoration, composite decking and fencing, plus general property maintenance and repairs.

What products do you use?
Quality work requires quality products. We have fostered excellent relationships with the UK’s leading suppliers to provide only the highest quality materials in all of our work. Vuba is one of the leading brands that we utilise most, particularly in our resin bound surfacing.
Will I need planning permission for my driveway?
In some parts of the country you may need planning permission for your driveway if it is being constructed from an impermeable material, such as clay blocks, tarmac or concrete. This is because it may not meet the regulations under the government’s sustainable urban drainage system legislation if there is not a suitable drainage system that directs the water to a localise drainage area.

We recommend that the easiest way to avoid this problem is by ensuring your new driveway is made from a permeable material, like resin bound driveways, which remove the need for additional drainage systems.

How will I know what surface is right for me?
Because we install all types of outdoor surfaces for your driveways, paths and patios, we know the pros and cons of each and will always advise you on the most suitable option for your home and your budget.

We will assess the ground and property, understand your needs and provide recommendations using case studies of previous work and fantastic reviews.

What is a permeable or impermeable driveway?
Permeable surfaces are ones that allow water and gases to travel through to the sub base and ground below. Quality artificial grass, resin bound surfaces and permeable asphalt are just some examples of permeable surfaces we offer for your home driveways, paths or patios.

Impermeable surfaces are the opposite – surfaces that do not allow water or gases to travel through. Common examples of these use on driveways and around the exterior of homes in the UK are block paving, concrete and tarmac. These surfaces must be installed with additional drainage systems to avoid flooding.

Do you offer any guarantee?

We take pride in the quality of driveway, path and patio installations and back this up by providing a 20-year guarantee on all of our work.
