Is a tarmac driveway right for my home?
Tarmac surfaces are regarded as one of the cheapest forms of ground surfacing for driveways, although this is dependent on size as larger spaces prove to be much more cost-effective than small single car driveways.
While it provides a cheaper driveway surfacing option, it is not suitable for people who like to work on their cars or motorcycles as fluid spillages – such as petrol, diesel, brake fluid and other automotive solvents – will break down through the tarmac surface and causes holes to form in the lower layers causing bigger problems down the line.
